Ardmore Strong — Micro grant program offered for small businesses
The Ardmore Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the introduction of a micro grant program — Ardmore Strong for Chamber Small Business members. The intent of the Program is to assist its small business members with marketing and promotional activities as they “reopen” to the community.
The Chamber Board of Directors voted to allocate $25,000 for the program. Funds can be utilized for marketing activities that introduce/reintroduce the business as we reopen and embrace the “new normal.” Uses of the monies can include website creation or upgrades, newspaper, radio or broadcast advertising, banners, signage, or promotional materials.
This micro grant program will provide onetime funding based on the number of employees as follows: A $500 per award for member businesses with less than 10 employees. The total amount allocated is $10,000, providing funding for 20 businesses. Businesses with 10-50 employees qualify for $1,000 n grant funds, allowing 15 of our employers to receive the funding.
Chamber business members will need to complete a brief application and submit a narrative of their marketing plan. Applications will be received from April 20, 2020 through the 5 p.m. CST April 27, 2020. Payment of the micro grant funds will be made on May 1, 2020. The funds will be awarded on a first-come basis until the funding is gone.
