Medical Insurance Chamber Blue
Oklahoma Chamber Blue is a health insurance program offered to employees of small businesses throughout the state of Oklahoma. Small businesses are eligible if they are members of the State Chamber or if they are members of one of the more than 200 Chambers of Commerce throughout the state. The program offers health plan options formerly available only to larger businesses. This lower-priced alternative for groups of two to 99 employees is available in 62 counties outside the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas, including Carter County. Businesses that are members of The State Chamber or a local chamber of commerce may choose from two PPO plans and two HMO plans, with two deductible options for each plan. The Oklahoma Chamber Blue product can also take advantage of the Oklahoma Employer/Employee Partnership for Insurance Coverage (O-EPIC) program designed to subsidize small businesses (fewer than 25 employees) for insurance premiums for eligible employees.
Financial Packaging/Incentives
The Ardmore Development Authority works with the City and the Chamber to access grants, low interest financing, tax abatement and designation as an enterprise zone project to assist large and small businesses or industry with start up costs.
